Regional Coordinator and Programs Specialist
Alise Ingrid Liepnieks
Alise is the Regional Coordinator and Programs Specialist for the Mid-Willamette Valley office of the Alzheimer’s Association. Her office covers programs, services and support in Linn, Benton, Marion and Polk Counties. Alise works with state and public agencies, schools, churches, community outreach support centers, hospitals and the individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia to increase concern and awareness, enhance care and support, advance public policy and accelerate research in her areas.
Alise has her Master’s degree in Public Health from Purdue University and moved here from Park City, Utah where she was a competitive snowboarder. She wanted to use her degree either to work for a non-profit or teach. She is grateful to be working for the Alzheimer’s Association doing both. Alise has been with the Alzheimer’s Association for almost three years. She started as a volunteer, then an intern and then the Regional Coordinator for the Mid-Willamette office.
